Churchill, Winston S. -- Signed Print Photo (1874-1965) British statesman; prime minister during World War II. Signed print photo of the famous Karsh photo, likely from a program, 9½x7½", n.p., n.d. Even though this is on print paper, Churchill's signature is original; he signed "Winston S. Churchill," above his printed title. In the portrait, he glowers at the camera, his left hand on his hip and his right hand holding a cane. This would frame beautifully. LOA by James Spence Authentication. Estimated Value $700 - UP

Dayan, Moshe and Golda Meir -- Two Autographed First Edition Books. Two autographed works; Moshe Dayan and Golda Meir. 1.) Diary of the Sinai Campaign 1966 First Edition by Harper & Row Publishers, New York. Book is in fine condition with dust jacket in very good condition with price clipped and one crease. The book is also in fine condition with deep blue cloth boards clean and the coppercolored printing of title on spine strong. Book plate is present on laid endpaper. Moshe Dayan has signed on an area of acid free paper centered on loose endpaper in blue ballpoint pen which is bold and without smears. 2.) My Life 1975 First American Edition, G.P Putnam's Sons, New York. Dust jacket is intact and without issues. Book appears unread and quite fine in every respect. Gold Meir has inscribed and signed on loose endpaper "In real deep friendship, and love. Golda Meir". Estimated Value $400 - UP

Wriothesley, Thomas, 4th Earl of Southampton - Restoration -Date DS (1607-1667) English statesman; supporter of Charles II, who returned from exile on May 23, 1660. Document signed, "T:Southampton," as Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk County, 1p, 12x16½", folded to 12x8¼", Essex House: the 26. 1660. Sending a copy (not present) of his commission for the Lieutenancy of the County of Norfolk to a group of men who have been approved by His Majesty (Charles II) to assist him in his duties. He desires their vigilance and hopes that their prepardness "may prevent and withstand that ill spirit that of late hath too much distracted this Nation…" A lord lieutenant was responsible for organizing the county's militia. Wriothesley served in this position from Sept. 24, 1660 to Aug. 19, 1661. He had been appointed Lord High Treasurer on Sept. 8, 1660. Boldly signed. An attractive document. Estimated Value $450 - UP
